At this 8.25 acre site with Seneca Lake views is a multi-year experiment interplanting various perennial edibles within a treescape which includes abundant black walnut. Flowering trees with varying bloom times have been made a planting priority to support wild pollinators and efforts are being made to support native flowering understory plants. Here is one of the four hazelnuts that grew here this year; we were expecting our first hazelnuts in 2020.
In Yates County, NY, Tyler Seneca and Cattle, LLC is doing business as Black Squirrel Farms.
